July 2008: Has been awarded the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA)
Astegic Inc., which teamed with Rigil Corp, announces that it has been
awarded the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Technical Assistance
and Program Support (TAPS) Contract, a Firm Fixed Price – Level of Effort
contract under which the FAA may order contracts support services over a 18
months period. Under the TAPS contract, the team of Astegic Inc and Rigil
Corporation jointly will provide budget planning, financial analysis,
program management and requirements analysis services in the areas of
contracts and program management.
June 2008: Astegic moves their offices to new location:
We are pleased to announce that we will be moving into new
office premises during the week June 7th. The new office premises are
located in the Tysons Corner Corridor at 8230 Boone Blvd Suite
330, Vienna, VA. It is to meet the needs of the fast growth of the
firm as well as to improve our working conditions that we decided to
acquire the new office. We are very glad to welcome all of our
friends, old and new, to visit us in the new office after June 11th,
2008.
April 2008: Astegic engages MQAS to begin CMMI II process:
Astegic engages with Maverick Quality Assurance Services (MQAS) to assist with CMMI level II certification process.
CMMI certification will provide Astegic with a process improvement and standardization for its delivery of projects to the clients. It will be used to guide process improvement across all
projects and products within the organization. CMMI helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, set process
improvement goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes, and provide a point of reference for appraising current processes. "The beginning of CMMI II process reinforces Astegic's commitment to the standardization of processes and quality" Says Mr Maheshwari from MQAS.Ria Ramnani, CEO of Astegic says, "Our team is excited and we look forward to getting CMMI Level II and III by Q2 of 2009"
May 2007: Astegic is now a registered as an 8A company
Astegic is now a registered as an 8A company. The 8a certification is for small and disadvantaged business to gain exposure when working with the federal government Astegic is proud to offer its services and looks forward to opportunities provided by being certified.
March 2007 - GSA Schedule IT Services - 70
Astegic is now registered with the GSA under section 70: general purpose commercial information technology equipment, software and services. As a schedule 70 company, Astegic will be able to provide assistance to federal government agencies with their procurement of IT products, services, and solutions as needed to meet their agency IT missions.
