(www.astegic.com), announced today that the company successfully appraised through a SCAMPI A against the Maturity Level 2 goals of the Capability Maturity Model Integration® - Development (CMMI-DEV) by an SEI certified appraiser.The Carnegie Melon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) CMMI is a proven framework and approach that helps guide organizations for improving their processes and their ability to manage development, acquisition and maintenance of their products and services. The seven key process areas in the CMMI-DEV ML2 include: - Requirements Management;

- Project Monitoring and Controls;

- Measurement and Analysis;
- Process and Product Quality Assurance; and
